Increasing revenue from £1.5m to £2.5m and generating a profit of £850k in the first full financial year. The business increased its overall profile, improved management effectiveness, enhanced service delivery.
Property Portal: Business Product Development – developed and executed with the founder the launch of the UK’s first consumer finance products for the residential real estate market. Digital Marketing Business: Growth Strategy/International Expansion – worked with the high growth business to improve operational efficiency, set up systems and controls, completion of off-shoring project, developed key strategic relationships. The business increased turnover by £1m, increased profitability by 30% in 12 months, head count doubled. Continued services are focused on international expansion, Staff incentivisation strategy, and core services strategy.
Executive Recruitment Start-Up: Start-up Launch/Growth Strategy/Financial and Tax management – Worked with the founder to develop the operational processes, whilst tightly managing cash flow in difficult market conditions in 2008. The business generated profits of £150k in Year 1, £450k in Year 2 and £1.1m in Year 3 (31 December 2010). At the time of my last interaction the business was forecast to make £1.6m of profit for 2011 financial year.
